Can I order tax-free?

Are you ordering for a business based in an EU country outside the Netherlands? You can purchase with 0% VAT under the EU reverse-charge mechanism (intra-Community supply).

Requirements:

  • Valid VAT ID: You must provide a valid EU VAT number registered in the official VIES system for a country outside the Netherlands.
  • Checkout verification: Enter your company name and VAT number during checkout. Our system validates the number automatically.
  • Delivery address: The shipping address must be located in the same EU country where your VAT number is registered.

Once your VAT number is verified, the tax rate will automatically be adjusted to 0% at checkout and on your invoice.

Please note: Reverse charge does not apply to Dutch businesses. Orders shipped within the Netherlands are charged standard Dutch VAT, which can be reclaimed through your local tax return.
Why are the products limited editions?

All of the bags are made from leftover materials, also known as deadstock. This means that in most cases, the same fabric can't be re-ordered. Once the bags are sold-out, they won't be restocked.

  • United Kingdom 
    Important: Orders to the UK ship without EU VAT. UK Import VAT (20%), applicable customs duties, and a carrier handling fee (e.g., Royal Mail or Parcelforce fee) will be collected directly by the carrier before your package is delivered.
  • United States
     Important: Orders to the US ship duty-unpaid from the Netherlands. Your order will not include EU VAT. However, depending on product classification and current U.S. Customs regulations, local customs duties or handling fees may be collected by the courier upon delivery.
  • Canada 
    Important: Orders to Canada ship duty-unpaid from the Netherlands. Packages are subject to Canadian sales tax (GST/PST/HST depending on your province), customs duties, and courier brokerage fees upon arrival.
  • Iceland
    Orders to Iceland ship duty-unpaid from the Netherlands without EU VAT. Your order will be subject to Icelandic value-added tax (VAT standard rate of 24%), local customs duties where applicable, and courier clearance fees collected directly by the carrier upon delivery.

What is the return policy?

Not completely satisfied with your purchase?

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it. Within this period, you must notify us that you wish to return the product.

Please email info@otec-bags.com with your order number to initiate the return.

Return shipping costs are at your own expense. Please ensure that the product is returned, where reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging. Products send back without the original label will not be accepted. 

Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 working days using the original payment method.

All of our products are proudly made in Italy from materials sourced in Italy.
